Why every set pairs a bib with a burp cloth

A burp cloth earns its keep from day one, kept within reach at the feeding and changing station for constant wiping. Some parents prefer a bandana bib worn on the neck instead, always there for small wipes without having to reach for anything.

What actually makes a bib worth keeping

• Two layers, not one: a single layer of fabric lets drool soak straight through to clothing underneath, so ours are built two-layer as standard
• Snap closures, not hook-and-loop: hook-and-loop loses its grip over repeated washing, can catch on other fabric in the machine, and tends to sit tighter against a baby's neck than a snap
• Pleated, not flat: a bandana bib with pleats catches noticeably more drool than a flat one, which matters most in the newborn months before solids start
